Our Suppliers

Fionn and Sonja would like to thank all the suppliers who made our wedding possible,
here are special mentions ....

Richard and all the staff at Barberstown Castle
who provided us with fine food and service, and a cool medieval style banqueting hall venue. Our guests really enjoyed it, and praised the venue. Everything was perfect, and it also made for beautiful backdrop fro our photos.
We intend to go back there for lunch or dinner on every anniversary!

James Delaney  , our Photographer .
Back in 2009 there were few remaining wedding photographers using film, all had gone digital and we had heard stories of long waits for albums, and ridiculously large photos sets to scan through.
James takes less photos, but each one is high quality and he was so professional that we had only a short wait for our Wedding Album .  Our big date was 3rd Oct, we returned from honeymoon early November,
and we were able to show off our Album to family at Christmas 2009 !

Katie and her band The Ratzingers (also on facebook )
who really rocked our wedding night! Katie has a fantastic voice, and can really belt out a tune (better than Imelda May IMHO). The dance floor was never, ever, empty and they did a great rendition of our first dance song , even allowing for our dancing. Katie and the band were lovely to deal with, and we like to see them again whenever they play the Mint Bar ( even if the drink there is v. pricey).
Highly recommend them,  best band we've seen at any wedding.

Julien Drapeau
who baked us a delicious 3-tier cake from his home. Our guests delightely polished off the chocolate biscuit  and the sponge layers. Check out The Eiffel Tower cake on his web-site.

Aston Formal wear who supplied the suits fro teh men
Fionn really liked the comfortable cut of the Magee suit. Aston didn't offer discounts, but we were highly satisfied with the service, with what we got and how the men folk were turned out on the day.
Our second choice would have been Tango's dress hire as Mark has  a great selection of waist-coats
and he was chosen by my brother for his nuptials.

Liz McFeely who sang beautifully for us, (accompanied by Trinity Organ Scholar Donna Magee) in the Trinity College chapel. Liz was lovely to work with, and we'd highly recommend her.
